- Must be able to follow and give / directions and follow all safety rules and regulations
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to work overtime.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is operating at peak efficiency to minimize downtime and maximize production
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to identify and repair issues quickly
- Perform repairs and replacements on faulty equipment and machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals are met
- Document all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
- Must stay productively busy without supervision.
- Know how to properly use power tools and power equipment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to repetitively stoop, bend, climb, crawl and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat and dust
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical certification or Associate’s degree in related field preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge and skills

Production Shift Supervisor
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
The following is a listing of the role and responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor. This is not an all-inclusive list. Additional responsibilities may be added as needed.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES
- Report maintenance problems using work order request
- Coordinate with shipping to ensure on time deliveries (Do not miss due dates)
- Oversee personnel- recommend pay raises, discipline, etc.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained
- Ensure machine is running properly to avoid down-time
- Conduct weekly shift meetings (goals, machine issues, procedure changes, safety, quality)
- Maintain a cross training plan within the shift to provide an ongoing continuous employee education
- Explore continuous improvement opportunities
- Train employees on quality good vs bad
- Maintain a forklift certification
- Communicate and work closely with all team members
- Must have a working knowledge of the overall machine both mechanically and operationally
- Set an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance to promote a team environment
- Enforce all company rules and regulations
- Set the example appearance, demeanor, following the rules

What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in outside sales (experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing is a huge plus).
- Drive: A “hunter” mentality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills—you can command a room and clearly articulate the value of a custom solution.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects at once without letting the small details (like dielines or substrate specs) slip through the cracks.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
